The motorcycle is a 1976 KZ900 fitted with a limited edition fiberglass bodykit by Tracy, a company based in Santa
Barbara, California in the 1970s.
The tri-coat paint, carried out by Paintworkz, is in a similar color scheme to the original Z1B
Candy Super Red. Z1B side panel badges are also fitted.
The vinyl KAWASAKI tank decals are by Redline Cycles.
A TRACY logo is fitted to each side of the rear
bodywork.
The fiberglass front shorty fender is the same color as the main bodywork.
The rear light unit, and turn signals which are on short stems, all have clear lenses with
colored bulbs.
A large drag style tachometer gauge has been fitted using a custom made brass plate.
The frame and various parts have been sand blasted and powder coated in black.
Dunlop tires front and rear are fitted to seven spoke gold painted Lester mag
wheels.
The front brakes are twin drilled front discs with the calipers mounted behind the
fork legs. The rear brake is a standard drum brake.
A two inch extended swingarm is fitted for a long low drag look.
The engine is upgraded with a welded crankshaft and features a Wiseco 1015cc kit with a 10.25:1
compression ratio.
Each of the 29mm smooth bore carburettors breathes through its own air filter.
The Vince & Hines exhaust system header is fastened to the cylinder head with smooth chrome
exhaust flanges.
Dyna S ignition with Andrew coils and leads are used.
The transmission is from a 1980 LTD.
The axles, spacers, springs, nuts and bolts have been re-zinced and many other parts have been
chromed.
